SAFEGUARDING & WELFARE

Safeguarding our young people

We regard the safeguarding of our players of primary importance.  At our home games you will always see a Respect line in place encouraging team supporters to give the children space to play and you will always see our Respect Marshall and Linesmen highly visible in their appropriate vests.

We do not tolerate foul language or aggressive behaviour from any children or adults attending our games. Lichfield Lions encourage the best possible environment for our team and for, and from, all visiting teams too.

We promote a tight knit team, fun environment and operate in keeping with the principles of the FA Respect Programme.

All our volunteers are DBS checked (police checked) and the club will launch with a full array of club roles such as FA qualified Welfare Officers with all volunteers will having also successfully completed FA Safeguarding courses.
